HYPNOTHERAPY

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HYPNOSIS AND HYPNOTHERAY

Hypnosis  (deep state of relaxation) is a treatment intervention comprised of inducing the client into a relaxed, suggestible state and then offering post-hypnotic suggestions for relief from symptoms.  Hypnosis is a method of relaxation and concentration that provides access to a unique state of consciousness.  This state is characterized by increased primary process thinking, suggestibility (heightened ego receptivity), and dissociation of the observing ego functions from the experiencing ego functions.

This is the simple shifting back and forth between the conscious and sub-conscious mind, a natural process that occurs 80% of every day.  The Conscious Mind connects to 10% of our mental processing:

  • Analyzes
  • Thinks and plans
  • Short-term memory

Sub-conscious Mind connects with 90% of our mental processing:

  • Long-term memory
  • Emotions & feelings
  • Habit patterns, relationship patterns, addictions
  • Involuntary bodily functions
  • Creativity
  • Developmental stages
  • Spiritual connection
  • Intuition

Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy® is the process of psychotherapy with a client who is in the hypnotic altered state of consciousness.  In this d state, the client can access origins to their currents issues, unhealthy perceptions and beliefs; shifting to healthier life decisions.  Accessing the subconscious mind, healing and transformation takes place more efficiently
